No other utility of the same purpose is as great as this. It's a gem! Function keys (brightness/volume/etc.) doesn't respond anymore in Sierra though, at least on my magic keyboard. But pressing the function key still has the sound. I'm thinking of going back to El Capitan just because of this. I can't focus without my KeyUp with me.

This is a nifty little app, I only wish it had more sounds to choose from. Still works under macOS Sierra! In fact, I was caught off guard because a few people mentioned (including the developer) being stuck either looking at the keyboard, or reducing it to the Dock to get it off screen. With Sierra, I simply closed the window... the key clicks still play.

I load this at startup, for one reason only. It's the best way I've found to add a "click" sound when I press a key. At the developer's suggestion, I hide the actual keyboard (otherwise I tend to click on it by accident), and it delivers great keyclicks. I've tried to find a good key click for years - one program that used to work was keyclick. It's more versatile (for clicking sounds) but it's unreliable and when my license stopped working, I decided not to buy another one. Thanks! Maybe someday I will try using it as a keyboard.

Keyup is by far the best onscreen keyboard for mac, mac has always, in my opinion, been way behind windows in this regard, believe me I know as due to my disability typing isnt possible for me. Just a suggestion would it be possible to give the user the choice of having the shift, command etc keys be sticky or not?
